- THE CHEFS’ MANIFESTO: A chef-led project bringing together 1600+ chefs from over 95 countries, to explore how they can take actions to deliver a sustainable food system. The Action Plan is tied to the United Nations Sustainable Goals, containing practical actions chefs can take, through targeted advocacy, campaigns, content-sharing, story-telling and more, to drive action under eight thematic areas.
- FEDHASA: The Federated Hospitality Association of South Africa has been at the heart of Southern Africa’s hospitality sector for over 70 years and, as the umbrella body for accommodation, conferencing, catering and food and beverage establishments, is committed to building a strong and sustainable industry for all.
- SA CHEFS’ ASSOCIATION: A non-profit industry body, founded 50 years ago that represents the interests of chefs, cooks, and caterers at all levels, with a focus on skills development, the celebration of culinary professionals and transforming the industry.
- RASA: The Restaurant Association of South Africa has been serving restaurants for nearly 20 years and is an established voice that speaks on behalf of restaurateurs and promotes all that is best in practice, sustainability and upliftment for independent restaurants, eateries, and food establishments nationally.
- WASTE -ED: Waste-ED develops zero waste management (waste to resource) systems with schools, communities, businesses, events etc.
Health & Wellness / Certification
- BEAUTY WITHOUT CRUELTY: Beauty Without Cruelty is an animal rights organisation that has been advocating for animal rights in South Africa for nearly 50 years. It highlights and opposes animal testing while promoting products that are manufactured humanely.
- DIABETES SOUTH AFRICA: Diabetes South Africa is a non-profit, public benefit organisation founded in 1969 committed to reducing the impact of Diabetes in South Africa, through awareness, advocacy, education and support. - PAN SOUTH AFRICA: Physicians Association for Nutrition: PAN South Africa collaborates intensely with national partners and has set up highly successful university groups to educate future health practitioners. The leader of PAN South Africa, Dr. Nanine Wyma is also leading PAN’s global transformation to increase global impact and networking.
- PLANT-BASED TREATY: The Plant Based Treaty is a grassroots global movement that puts food systems at the heart of combatting the climate crisis. The Treaty aims to halt the widespread degradation of critical ecosystems caused by animal agriculture and promote a shift to more healthy, sustainable plant-based diets.

- KCSA: Kosher Certified South Africa is a community supported initiative and as such has values that are based on integrity, transparency, commitment of service and accountability to the community whom they serve. KCSA takes pride in ensuring optimum levels of compliance to the halachic standards of kashrus.
- SANHA: The South African National Halaal Authority is an international, non-profit organisation certifying Halaal food and products in South Africa.
- HRC: The Halal Research Council is a global organisation focused on Halal certifications to meet the needs of food and nutrition agencies, as well as non-food agencies, particularly within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
