The Plant Powered Show – the first of its kind to be held on the African continent – takes place this weekend at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, with doors opening on Friday, May 27 at 14:00 and closing on Sunday May 29 at 17:00. (See below for full daily opening and closing times.)
One of the highlights of this three day event, which is aimed at those looking to live and enjoy a healthier, more conscious and sustainable lifestyle, has to be the programme of exciting and informative Masterclasses, which will be held hourly each day and which will feature well-informed chefs and award-winning mixologists hosting interactive hands-on food and drink workshops.
Masterclass tickets costs R145pp, there are 18 to choose from, and ticket holders can attend as many as they like on any day, as long as they are also in possession of a general admission ticket (R250pp).
