Ecocert South Africa

ECOCERT South Africa was registered in 2002 and is situated in Somerset West. They are a subsidiary of the ECOCERT Group, established in 1991 in France, who were one of the pioneers of organic certification. From our subsidiary, we offer third-party organic-, sustainable- and fair-trade certification across most English-speaking Africa. Schemes like EU 2018/848, USDA’s National Organic Program and the Organic Japanese Agricultural Standard provide organic traders access to the largest international markets. We also offer Rainforest Alliance, COSMOS (Cosmetic Organic Standard) and the registration of agricultural inputs for use in organic farming.
