Surrounded by the beauty of the local fynbos in Wellington, it is no wonder why Philippe Lelard, Chocolatier Farmer, decided to develop first a range of chocolate slabs incorporating rooibos, snowbush or pelargonium: the FYNBOS range. My ambition is to bring to my customers beautifully crafted products made out of the best African-origin cocoa (Ivory Coast, Ghana, Tanzania and Madagascar) combined with organically, locally grown nuts, fruits or herbs. My wife and I moved from France in November 2024 and resettled with our children on a farm in Wellington, Western Cape. In a few years we plan to harvest from the farm the fruits, the herbs and the olive oil which are needed for the production of our chocolate delicacies. Hence our name CHOCOLATIER FARMER.
